Volunteer on the farm

Volunteering has always been a big part of what makes Kiwi Valley special. It's a chance to spend time around animals, pick up practical skills, and meet people who love the farm as much as you do. You'll always be working alongside our staff, at a pace that suits you, and you don't need any experience to start.

Who can volunteer

Anyone aged 12 or over. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian will need to complete the forms with you. Volunteering is always optional, with no minimum hours and no fixed days.

Why we ask you to sign up

It's about safety. It lets us know who's on the farm and plan the day properly. We can have up to 20 volunteers a day, so if your plans change, please cancel so someone else can take your spot.

Good to know

We're open Wednesday to Sunday. Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. If you're not sure about anything, just ask us.
