Questions we get asked

Do I need to book?

No. Just turn up and pay at the gate. Only birthday parties, school visits and functions need booking.

How long should we allow?

About two hours to do everything. Rides and the tractor run throughout the day, so there are no set times to catch. Just arrive before last entry (see opening hours above).

Can we bring our own food?

Yes, picnics are welcome and there are picnic tables around the farm. Pukeko Café is right next door too.

Can we bring our dog?

Sorry, no dogs, except assistance dogs. It keeps our animals calm and safe.

Is it pushchair and wheelchair friendly?

The main paths are pushchair-friendly. We have accessible toilets and baby change facilities.

What happens if it rains?

Everything still runs. We only close early in very poor weather, and we'll post it on Instagram and Facebook.

Is there a weight limit for horse rides?

Yes, rides are for kids and adults, with a daily weight limit. Ask our team on the day.
